The ‘Seads’ project by Enactus Münster aims to promote the sustainable use of marine ecosystems through marine agriculture. The focus is on the controlled cultivation of seagrass beds, the seeds of which can be harvested and processed as a natural resource. This method contributes to marine biodiversity whilst also helping to combat climate change by sequestering CO₂ in the marine environment.

With RecyCoal, a project run by the Enactus Aachen team, companies can make an active contribution to climate protection by offsetting their carbon emissions through carbon credits. These credits come from projects in Rwanda, Tanzania and Senegal, where unused biomass is converted into biochar - a process that removes CO₂ from the atmosphere and stores it in the soil for long term.
