Sustainability and social innovation.
Together, we want to contribute to the realization of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. As a team, we develop social innovations and implement them in various projects. We ensure the sustainability of our work by founding non-profit organizations that organize and finance themselves in the long term.
Putting theory into practice.
Enactus Germany e.V. is a non-profit, non-governmental organization in Germany and in doing so one of 33 national societies worldwide. Our statutory objectives are the promotion of science and research, education and vocational training, including student aid, development cooperation and the promotion of commitment to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The name Enactus stands for the entrepreneurial spirit (entrepreneurial), the will to shape (action), and the commonality in action and values (us), a term that encapsulates the mission of the international non-profit organization in one word - to inspire students to sustainably improve the world through entrepreneurial action.
A strong network in Germany.
The network now has teams at more than 30 universities in Germany: From Hamburg to Munich and from Aachen to Freiberg, the Enactus network spans the whole of Germany. More than 1,700 students have come together in teams and are implementing projects to improve people's living conditions.
Social startups for a sustainable future.
The impact of the Enactus teams can be felt worldwide! Whether alternative solutions for the German market to reduce waste or a game changer on the African continent: the focus of the ideas and startups is always on the positive impact through charitable projects.
Worldwide Networking.
More than 42,000 students, representatives of 550 companies and 1,064 universities in 33 countries work together at Enactus to form a worldwide network. We are convinced that competition promotes creativity and rewards results. That's why representatives of all Enactus teams worldwide meet once a year for the Enactus World Cup. The common idea, the common work and the common experience connects the members of Enactus all over the world.
